Start of a New Legacy

This is my first post for my new Sims 2 blog.

As many have done, I have restarted a new Legacy family. I finished my first Legacy Family this afternoon, and would like to do it all over again, for fun.

My starting sim is Gretle Oaks. She is a Family sim and is high in Neat and Nice points, and average in all the other areas except Lazy. She only has two points in that section. Silly me - I should have made it more, because she is always slouching all the time. Not good for pictures Gretle! Luckily she posed nicely for her first picture:

Gretle moved in with around $4,500 in her bank account. Here is her humble abode:

I got Gretle in the Business track right after she moved in. Shortly after, she got promoted two times.
I then had her call in the Maid service, hoping there was a male Maid available. Sure enough, Rodney came and soon became lovers with Gretle. Now he’s not the most handsome of men, but hey, when your in a hurry trying to make babies, looks just don’t matter. Here, Gretle is proposing to her one true love: Rodney.

I waited a while till they ‘Woohoo’d”, since I wanted them to make enough money for the baby. I wasn’t expecting the worst of all: twins. Twin boys…little terrors they are going to be; I can just smell it. Neither have Gretle’s red hair. Of course I was expecting that, but I was a little disappointed that they both had Rodney’s green eyes. (I just love the grey eyes too!) They DO have different skin tones though - little Lance has moms skin tone, while Victor has dads skin tone. Here is a picture of the boys:

This is Lance, the lighter skin tone baby.

And his twin brother Victor.

That is all I have today for the Oaks family, but I hope I have some good news tomorrow concerning the twins!

  8. I am very frustrated right now because I have my post ready, and it says it isn’t responding when I click Publish. Is this happening to anyone else, or is it just me?

  9. Aw, your pictures are so clear! I love the babies, they have beautiful green eyes. (I’m not sure I like Rodney’s uniform color, though.)
